Product Description

After much testing, we think that pure nitrogen bulbs (or larger pure nitrogen bottles) are best for an espresso martini and stout.

The high alcohol content of the cocktail can flatten the instant foam created by nitrous oxide too quickly in some cases.

Pure nitrogen takes longer to absorb into liquid than nitrous oxide but has a more reliable effect.

Once absorbed the drink will pour with a cascading head like a Guinness stout with zero effect on flavour.

Either bulb can be used in our iKegger 2.0 regulator or nitro bulb injector keg systems, it is up to your personal preference.

Neither N2 or N2O bulbs are for use with our older style mini regulator, it is only for CO2.

I’m a huge fan of my iKegger. I’ve had it for around a year now and the product is fantastic. I bought the 5L insulated keg without the 2.0 tap. I also just recently upgraded to the 2.2L tank adaptor. I haven’t received it yet (bought last night), but it will be nice to have more gas as opposed to the smaller bulbs. It’s great for both CO2 and N2 drinks and dispensing.

Overall I’m a huge fan and highly recommend.

I recently converted my toolbox into an iKegger setup and I couldn’t be happier with it. The upgrade is still a work in progress – I’m currently adding an air conditioning unit into the keg storage area – but even as it stands, it’s been fantastic. Shipping was super quick, everything arrived well packed, and the system was really easy to get going.

I’ve been using it daily for fresh pints straight from the keg, and it hasn’t disappointed once. Really impressed with the build quality and how adaptable the setup is for custom projects like mine. Can now fill the 5L mini keg direct from the corny keg, fairly quick and easy. Separately purchased a liquid ball lock disconnect for the corny and spare stainless barb for the gas post from KL. I like the solution and can fill up when on the go.
